What it is

The dramatic one — the full just-rained-on look, and it locks the joint sand down as it cures. This is what goes on most of our own customers’ driveways. It ships in a metal can because a solvent carrier attacks plastic, and it travels by freight because transport law says so.

Why it holds up

Five things that decide whether a sealed driveway still looks sealed in two years.

25% solids by volume

The same solids load as the Natural. What changes is the carrier and the sheen, not how much material stays on your driveway.

Medium-to-high gloss

The wet look. Colour goes deep and the surface reflects — the finish most people picture when they say “sealed”.

Locks the joint sand

The solvent carrier penetrates the joint and binds the sand as it cures, so the joints stop washing out.

UV stabilised, non-yellowing

Same protection package as the Natural. Florida sun is the test either way.

Metal can, freight only

A solvent carrier is a flammable liquid for transport. It cannot go to a house as a single parcel — that is the law, not a sales tactic.

How it goes down

Five steps. The first one is the one people skip, and it is the one that fails them.

  1. Clean and fully dry the surface.
  2. Apply SignaSeal DEEP first if you want the full two-step system.
  3. Apply the first thin coat with solvent-rated equipment. Keep it moving.
  4. Let it touch-dry, then apply the second thin coat.
  5. Walk on it after about an hour. Keep vehicles off for 48 hours.
Read this before you open the pailSolvent-based sealers are classed as flammable liquids for transport, so this product cannot ship as a single parcel to a home. Local pickup or palletised freight only. Rags wet with this product can ignite on their own — lay them flat outdoors to dry, or soak them and seal them in a metal container.
